"I'd rather be Spinach!"

Here is a conversation I overheard Ethan having with his friend...

Ethan's friend: "I'd rather be dead than in a coma for the rest of my life. I wouldn't want to be a vegetable."

Ethan: "I'd rather be a vegetable. (pause) I would be spinach! I love spinach!"
